Doublets

These doublet are made to order in a variety of materials, from plain wool and cotton, to velvets, suede and leather. They are all fully lined, and the sleeves are usually detachable, unless you request otherwise. They can be decorated with a wide variety of braids and trims.  

As these items  are all made to order, and are tailored to fit, the order form includes a form for all the necessary measurements

Plain Doublet -  £95

Velvet doublet  -  with simple trim and plain sleeves  -  £170

Elizabethan Doublet  -  I originally designed this one for our wedding in 2004, but it has proved to be a very popular style - The fabric of the body is available in several colours - Blue, green, red, brown and gold - and it is decorated with diagonal stripes of velvet and piping. The sleeves are slashed and buttoned, with a contrasting material trim.

Leather Doublet  -  Fully lined leather or suede doublets, with various trims and sleeve styles.
